I have been shirking my blogging duties recently, but for good reason. At the end of February, I left South Korea. It was a hard thing to do, but it was the right thing for me.
I am now settling into a new job at the Kauai Forest Bird Recovery Project in Hanapepe, Kauai, Hawaii. This position is mainly field work, and as such I will spending large amounts of time out in the field, away from modern comforts such as cellular phones, indoor plumbing, and electricity. As such, I’m going to be shirking my blogging duties even more, since I just can’t get to an internet connection deep in the rainforest.
Come June, however, I should be back with tales of birding adventure. Thank you all for your continued patience at my recent disappearance. I hope you’ll all come back again when I return to the blogosphere this summer…stayed tuned!
